Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Techno Commercial Pre-Sales/Business Development Manager with a deep understanding of the BFSI sector and expertise in Digital Debt Collection solutions. This role will focus on driving business growth through pre-sales engagements, developing strong client relationships, and positioning our innovative products in the BFSI space.

The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical acumen, business development skills, and a thorough understanding of the financial technology landscape. This individual will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, driving product sales, and ensuring smooth communication between clients and the technical team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development & Sales:
    1. Develop and implement strategies to drive product sales in the BFSI sector (Banking, Financial Services, Insurance).
    2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers at prospective and existing BFSI clients.
    3. Lead the sales process from initial lead identification to closing deals, ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Pre-Sales Support:
    1. Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to understand client requirements and customize solutions.
    2. Conduct product demos, presentations, and workshops to showcase the value of our Digital Lending and Digital Debt Collection solutions.
    3. Provide technical support to customers during the sales cycle, addressing technical queries and concerns.
  • Domain Expertise:
    1. Leverage in-depth knowledge of Digital Lending and Digital Debt Collection to recommend tailored solutions that meet clients’ business needs.
    2. Stay updated with the latest trends, regulatory changes, and innovations in digital finance to effectively engage with clients and provide market insights.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    1. Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and trust.
    2. Understand client challenges and propose suitable product offerings to improve operational efficiency, risk management, and customer experience.
  • Market Research & Competitive Analysis:
    1. Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
    2. Analyse competitor products and services to understand their strengths and weaknesses and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams:
    1. Work closely with internal product, technical, and operations teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
    2. Provide feedback to the product teams on customer needs and market demands for continuous product improvement.

Key Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 6-8 years of experience in pre-sales/business development in the BFSI sector, with specific expertise in Digital Lending and Digital Debt Collection.

Educational Qualifications: An MBA with specialization in Banking and Finance/ Sales and Marketing

Skills:

Strong technical understanding of digital finance solutions and their implementation.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Ability to engage with C-level executives and technical teams effectively.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to offer innovative solutions.

Domain Knowledge:

In-depth understanding of the BFSI industry, particularly the digital transformation trends in lending and debt collection.

Experience working with financial products such as loan management systems, collection management platforms, and digital payment solutions.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in cloud technologies and familiarity with AI/ML applications in the digital finance space.

Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in the financial services industry.
